Oaksoft is looking back to Festivak 2010 with full satisfaction. For OakTree Rent the exhibition meant it’s introduction and kickoff on the Dutch market for rental software. Even though OakSoft is a new name within the rental industry, the people behind the newest software suit are not. Managing Director Geert van Erven has several years of experience working within the industry.

HUGE INTEREST

The success of the exhibition was already clear during the first day, when interest in the new software provider turned out to be huge. During the short but impressive demonstrations, Rental companies found themselves gladly surprised when they saw what OakTree Rent could offer them. Not to mention the attractive price the application is offered for making it a sweet deal.

“During the last months we worked extremely hard to develop our rental application. At first, we planned to introduce the suit at the Prolight+Sound exhibition, but because of the huge interest even before the exhibition OakSoft decided to show the first application at Festivak.” Technical Director Henk Eikelboom said after the exhibition.

 The interest in OakTree Rent was huge from the moment the exhibition opened, with visitors coming in until late after closing time during both days "In addition,  some experts from the Dutch market are so enthusiastic about the new application that they offered to invest their knowledge and experience of the rental industry to contribute to the application quickly in order to get it to the highest level.” Said Geert van Erven.

 “If we would have expected this before the exhibition we would have made a much larger introduction, but we were never able to foresee this. Partly because a lot of rental companies know my history in the rental industry they were gladly surprised with what we could show them. Giving us huge expectations of Prolight+Sound. There we will, together with one of our partners, show the full suit for the rental industry.” Managing Director Geert van Erven said after the exhibition. 

Not able to wait

That after seeing the application at Festivak not everyone was able to wait until the end of March became quickly clear.  “There was so much interest that we planned several appointments for the coming few weeks to go into the possibilities of OakTree Rent. It is clear that what we have announced is also experienced by the rental companies. But we don’t want to cry out to loud. We also must prove ourselves and make true what we promise. Yet, our customers will experience that they come first, because our motto is that we are not software suppliers, but a partner with who a long-term relationship can be engaged.” Henk Eikelboom adds to what his associate said.   

Conclusion

“Festivak was for us absolutely a big success, we therefore expect to be able to announce some users who chose for OakTree Rent very soon.” Geert van Erven says. “The market needs a new player. We expect to finish our full version ready for implementation in the beginning of April”.
