After two years HVR Showequipment again decided to choose for the introduction of a new software system. The rental company from Ravenstein chose this time for OakTree Rent. After two elaborate demonstrations to the employees the team had become enthusiast to help OakTree make the application grow and become one of the most important players within the industry.  

NEW, YET FAMILIAR

The contacts with OakSoft were, for Han Verploegen, director/owner of HVR Showequipment, nothing new. “Director Geert van Erven from OakSoft is a familiar face to us. Two years ago Geert managed to convince us to choose for a completely new software package within our company. Now we are two years later and I recently met Geert again in the industry with his own company. With a new modern solution for our AV-rental business he managed to convince me quickly. SIX NEW REFERENCES FOR OAKTREE RENT
In the coming weeks the items, debtors and projects are taken over in OakTree Rent and the first preparations will start. “It went fast after our introduction at the Festivak. Within 4 weeks as much as 6 rental companies chose our application. The road to a fully integrated ERP system for the rental industry will be walked further during 2010. Many new functionalities will be developed within our package, but we are more than convinced that with those we will become one of the most important suppliers of rental software.”, says Geert van Erven from OakSoft.

Dennis Sommerdijk, Project Manager at HVR Showequipment, had to think before taking the step to OakTree rent. “Of course I was sceptical. Geert sold us a package before which I couldn’t get along with even after two years. But I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised after some very critical questions and the demonstration. Yes we can see that the package is still new in the industry, but at OakSoft they have been honest about that. And we think we have enough knowledge of AV rental to, together with OakSoft, bring in our experience and to think with our colleagues about how a rental company should be fully automated.
