The dutch rental company Soundworks, has chosen for OakTree Rent. A decision made after director Rob van Hees had a peek at the possibilities of OakTree Rent. “When OakSoft visited us for an elaborate demonstration we immediately noticed that there are a lot of possibilities with the application. But, OakTree Rent was and still is being developed and we want to contribute to this development. When the support by our current software supplier left more and more to be desired we quickly decided to switch to OakTree Rent as soon as possible.”, says Rob van Hees, General Manager of Soundworks.
OakSoft is happy with the choice for OakTree Rent, which Soundworks made. “Rob has shown that he spends a lot of time and energy in our application. De huge growth the AV-Rental company is going through causes the desire to have as much as possible automated by us. Our goal is to bring one of the best rental software packages to the market, this cannot be done without the know-how and input of our users.”, says Henk Eikelboom, technical director of OakSoft.

GROWING ALONG
OakTree Rent sees her amount of customers grow rapidly. “We are already fully booked until the summer with implementations. Some rental companies have also found each other as users of OakTree Rent. An example of this is the contact between HVR Showequipment and Soundworks which already existed, but now they are exchanging ideas about the direction in which OakTree Rent should be developed. This gives us ‘The best of both worlds’, which makes our application stronger. This is the way we have always brought applications to the market, which led to being market leader twice before.”, says director Geert van Erven who by saying this refers to the applications CLEAR and FORTUNA which were both developed by both directors and which were brought to the market for both waste companies and law firms. ¹

COMPLETE
Rob van Hees knows exactly what he wants. “I may not be considered one of the easiest users OakSoft will find, but I have the feeling that I can make very clear what I want. Within a very short time OakSoft has proved to be thinking along with us. One example of this is when they showed me how we can quickly send text messages from the application without any investments. I responded to this by suggesting that my people should also be able to send a text message back quickly and that it would be a good thing if OakTree Rent could receive and automatically process this message. Within several hours director Geert van Erven called me and showed me they accomplished it. Which gives us the feeling we started working together with the right partner. All modern features we missed in our current application were already present in OakTree Rent. Besides that OakTree has its own fully integrated financial system which gladly surprised us. Nowadays everybody needs to check how their business is doing, making it important to have an up to date insight in the financial administration every moment of the day. Now that our input is this big we get the feeling that this is becoming ‘our’ package, which I consider good for the cooperation and use of such important package for our organization.”, says Rob van Hees from Soundworks.
